Welcome to our ESG data platform, operated by Climate Tracker Initiative AB (”Company”, ”we”, ”our”, or ”us”). These Terms of Service (”Terms”) govern your use of the Platform, including access to data, exporting to Excel, and using APIs.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence in case of conflicts.

2. Scope of Services

We provide a Platform where users can:

• View ESG data
• Export data to Excel
• Try out API functionalities

3. Freemium and Limited Access

• Freemium accounts are restricted in terms of services, available data points, and the number of accessible companies.
• To gain full access to all companies and all data points, a paid license or separate agreement is required.
• Freemium accounts have limited access to data points and company coverage.
• To gain full access, a paid subscription or separate agreement is required.

4. User Responsibilities

Users must:

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Use data solely for internal purposes unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement specifying alternative usage rights.
• Keep account credentials secure and confidential.

5. Prohibited Activities

• Users may not share, resell, or redistribute logins or data.
• API access for freemium accounts, API access is restricted and solely intended for testing purposes.
• Unauthorized automation, scraping, or bulk downloading of data is prohibited.

6. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date ESG data, fro freemium accounts we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any data provided. Use of data is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our Platform or reliance on its data.

8. Account Termination & Suspension

• We reserve the right to terminate or suspend free accounts at any time.
• If an account is inactive for an extended period, we may close it without prior notice.

9. Privacy & Data Security

We comply with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. We implement strict security measures, including encryption and secure access protocols, to protect your personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure. In case of any data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly and take all necessary measures to mitigate the impact.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for the duration of your subscription and collaboration with us. After the end of our collaboration, your data will be deleted within one year unless you request earlier deletion. You may request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@climatetrackerinitiative.org.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

Any disputes arising from this License Agreement shall be settled in a general court with the Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
