At Climate Tracker Initiative (CTI), our mission is simple yet powerful: All future decisions should take companies’ ESG impact into account. We strive to be the world’s most comprehensive, accurate, and accessible service for ESG data. By making high-quality ESG data available, we empower businesses, regulators, and stakeholders to make more informed, sustainable decisions.

Our company is strongly aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG13): Climate Action. In everything we do, we prioritize minimizing our environmental impact. This commitment influences not only our internal practices but also the data services we provide to help others reduce their carbon footprint.

  • Prioritizing low-carbon solutions: We always choose the most environmentally friendly options, such as using trains for business travel, electric vehicles, and renewable energy sources.
  • Vegetarian policy: We provide only vegetarian meal options to reduce our environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices.
  • Paperless operations: We have implemented a no-paper policy, relying on digital solutions to minimize waste.
  • CO2 Emissions Tracking and Reduction: We use GoClimate to continuously track our GHG emissions and receive feedback on activities aimed at reducing our carbon footprint. We are committed to setting a formal CO2 emissions reduction target as we strive to minimize our environmental impact.

  • Human Rights and Labor Standards: We conduct human rights due diligence using a risk-based approach, ensuring that our business operations respect the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and comply with core labor standards, including the prohibition of forced labor and child labor.
  • Gender and transparency: These principles are ingrained in our owners’ directive and shareholders’ agreement.
  • Outsourcing practices: We ensure fairness by paying a 25% premium on top of market rates for outsourced development work.
  • Anticorruption and Criminal Activity Prevention: We maintain strict anticorruption practices and are committed to preventing criminal activities such as bribery, tax evasion, and money laundering in all business dealings.
  • Data privacy and security: We take GDPR seriously. Following external audits and assessments, we constantly monitor our privacy policies and data security measures.

Regulatory Compliance

CTI helps companies within the EU comply with key sustainability regulations such as SFDR, CSRD, and GDPR. Our platform ensures that businesses can easily access and use ESG data to meet their regulatory obligations.

Continuous Improvement

Our ESG policy is not static. We are committed to reviewing and improving our practices on a continuous basis, with formal reviews conducted at least once per year. We aim to not only meet but exceed industry standards and expectations in ESG practices.

We believe in accountability. Our ambition is to publish regular reports on our ESG performance and progress, both for our stakeholders and the wider public.
